Imass
Design Solutions and Newcastle Racing - the Right Formula!
Newcastle-based
Imass Design Solutions (iDS), part of Imass Ltd. is proud
to sponsor the Newcastle University race team, in
preparation for the Annual International Formula Student
Championship.
The
Newcastle Racing team is tasked with designing,
manufacturing and marketing a small single-seater race car,
prior to competing as a team in the three-day Championship
event in July next year.
Colin
Watson, Imass Design Solutions Business Development Director
stated “We’re delighted to be supporting the Newcastle
Racing team for the 2006/2007 season.
In 2004, the Formula Student competition attracted
entries from 66 universities in 19 different countries, so
we’re excited to support our local University in its bid
for the Championship.
Furthermore,
the project blends academic working with the development of
practical technology skills.
We hope that the experience will enable both the
students and sponsors to forge closer links with local
industry."
